I enjoy working on films that focus on adventure expeditions to remote, exotic corners of the earth and I'm drawn to capturing authentic content that tells the tale of the human spirit.
I specialize in capturing storytelling elements. From shooting visuals surrounding a scene, to placing and hiding microphones, I have the intuition to be ready for pivotal moments. My goal is to make viewers feel like they are there and to ensure editors they have everything they need for success.
I am also passionate about working on projects that inspire viewers to make the world a better place.
WORK HISTORY
For 12 years, I worked for Teton Gravity Research in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I spent my winters shooting on trips around the world, and my summers editing films. I played a central role in the creation of 12 annual ski and snowboard films, 2 feature film documentaries, and countless web content.
One of the highlights of my career was the opportunity to be the second unit director of photography on HBO and TGR's "Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season."

SKILLS & CERTS
Certifications include Wilderness First Responder, Swiftwater Rescue, CPR, Avalanche Level 1, and have completed 10 years of TGR's annual avalanche, medical and rescue class.
Skills include skiing, hiking, open water swimming, white water rafting, camping in remote locations for long periods of time, traveling with copious amounts of gear, and working around helicopters in the mountains.
Extremely knowledgable of all Red camera systems, Zaxcom audio equipment and Premiere Pro. Proficient with Photoshop, Lightroom and I know enough to be dangerous with After Effects.
